Tree Planting for National Wildlife Week at Woodlands Trail, March 24th
Join us as we celebrate wildlife on March 24th! Visit a centuries-old tree and plant new trees for the next century! Woodlands Conservancy is hosting a tree planting and interpretive hike on Saturday, March 24, at Woodlands Trail and Park located near English Turn (New Orleans). A special feature of the morning will be a dedication of a 200 year old cypress tree found in the park. Activities sponsored by Woodlands Conservancy in partnership with Louisiana Wildlife Federation and National Wildlife Federation to celebrate National Wildlife Week.
