Louisiana Waterfowl Alliance to Hold General Meeting in Monroe, LA
The Louisiana Waterfowl Alliance will host a meeting of duck and goose hunters and other interested parties on Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Monroe, LA. The meeting will be held at the Black Bayou National Wildlife Refuge at 420 Richmond Place off US Highway 165 north of Monroe from 3 PM till.
The purpose of the meeting is to acquaint hunters in northeastern Louisiana of the LWA’s programs.
[See www.louisianawaterfowl.org.] After short presentations by Black Bayou NWR staff and LWA, those in attendance will be able to voice concerns and problems of hunters in the area. A Question and Answer session will follow.
Information about the LWA, its history, standing programs and upcoming events will be shared during the evening. LWA is an affiliate of the Louisiana Wildlife Federation and is also a member of the National Association of Waterfowl Associations. LWA funds are used for habitat projects in Louisiana only.
This meeting is free and open to the public. If you plan to attend, bring a friend. Participants are welcome to join LWA - $20 annual regular membership; $10 senior membership over 60; and junior membership no charge with regular membership sponsorship.
