Photo Essay on Brazilian Wildlife

Donna Bush is a local nature photographer living in Pearl River, LA. She became interested in nature photography in the early 1990’s while working as a Telecommunications Specialist for the USDA-National Finance Center. Photography provided a break from computers and gave her alone time in the outdoors with wildlife, nature and her camera. Donna has pursued her passions of photography, nature and writing and is a contributing writer and photographer for “Slidell Magazine.” Donna is also a certified yoga instructor helping many friends and students to explore their own inner passions.
                                              
She is a recent winner of the South Eastern Outdoor Press Association Excellence in Craft photography award. On April 21st, Donna will provide a presentation on her recent trip to Brazil, including the North and South Pantanal, highlighting her search for jaguars, giant anteaters, giant river otters, jabiru storks, red and green macaws, hyacinth macaws, caiman, capybara, and ringed kingfishers to name a few.
