The Federation convenes a stimulating Annual Meeting each year, providing a forum and opportunity for LWF's affiliates and individual members to establish policy and conservation objectives. Resolutions approved at the Annual Meeting can be found on LWF's Resolutions Database.

3:00pm LWF Field Trip in Kisatchie National Forest - Meet in the lobby of The Hotel Bentley. Biologists with Kisatchie National Forest will lead a field trip to observe endangered species recovery efforts for Red-Cockaded Woodpeckers and Louisiana Pine Snake. We will caravan in our own cars to a few sites in the Alexandria area, including Kincaid Lake. (Possible stop at historic Camp Claiborne if participants are interested.) Meet at 3pm in the lobby of Hotel Bentley at 200 Desoto Ave, Alexandria Louisiana. (This field trip is planned to leave after the LWF General Assembly Meeting at the hotel that is being held from 9am - 3pm on August 19th. LWF members and guests are welcome to join us at the meeting and/or the field trip.)
