Recognizing those individuals, organizations and businesses that have made a significant and outstanding contribution toward the protection and wise use of Louisiana’s natural resources
Celebrate annually, this program promotes volunteer and professional excellence in conservation work in Louisiana through recognition. Nominations for recognition in 2017 were solicited from the public in 8 categories and the Governor's Award was selected from among the winners of each category.
Annual Convention
Calling all conservation groups, sportsmen, environmentalists and natural resource management professionals from throughout Louisiana
The Federation convenes a stimulating Annual Meeting each year, providing a forum and opportunity for LWF's affiliates and individual members to establish policy and conservation objectives. Resolutions approved at the Annual Meeting can be found on LWF's Resolutions Database.
Certified Wildlife Habitat™
Want to grow native plants and attract native species, including pollinating insects, birds, reptiles, amphibians and more?
In partnership with the NWF’s Garden for Wildlife program, Louisiana Wildlife Federation is working to increase habitat for backyard wildlife species and protect pollinator populations.
