Louisiana Wildlife Federation Announces 2025–2026 Edgar Veillon Conservation Leadership Corps Cohort

The Louisiana Wildlife Federation (LWF) is pleased to announce the 19 students selected for the 2025 Edgar Veillon Conservation Leadership Corps (EV-CLC). Established in 2018, this program prepares undergraduate students from across Louisiana to be the future leaders in conservation.

Over the coming year, the cohort will take part in three in-person training sessions that provide in-depth learning, professional networking, and direct engagement with pressing conservation issues. Students will examine real-world challenges while building leadership and advocacy skills through case studies, collaborative activities, and mentorship. Graduates will join a growing alumni network with opportunities for continued mentorship, collaboration, and professional development.

LWF congratulates the 19 students selected for the 6th cohort group in this program. Their commitment to building skills for advocacy and leadership reflects the promise of a new generation that will soon lead the way in safeguarding Louisiana’s wildlife, water, and habitats for generations to come.
