The 79th Annual Convention will be held August 18, 2018 in Baton Rouge at the Baton Rouge Radisson located at 2445 S. Acadian Thruway. There will be a hospitality room at the hotel on Friday night, August 17. On Saturday, August 18, Convention registration opens at 8:30am and the LWF Board Meeting starts at 9am. The Board Luncheon is at noon. Resolutions will be debated in the General Assembly starting at 2pm. The convention closes at 5:30pm. The public is invited to attend.
Secretary Chuck Carr Brown will be the guest speaker at the Board Luncheon at noon on August 18.
People planning to attend may want join us on Friday, August 17, for a tour of the Mississippi River delta model. Details can be found on the registration form.
Rooms will be available for $89 per night and this includes a breakfast for 2 guests. Each person is responsible for making their own room arrangements directly with the Baton Rouge Radisson.
