COMMUNITY MEETINGS ON FLOOD RISK AND RESILIENCE IN FEBRUARY

The CPRA is hosting a series of four community meetings, which will go over the Flood Risk and Resilience Program.  Those who attend will have the opportunity to learn about and ask questions regarding the future of coastal flood risks, as well as the state and parish governments’ plans for flood protection and how to privately reduce flood risk.  Each meeting will have the following format:

·         An open house from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. to share information and gather residents’ feedback about current and future flood risk;

·         A CPRA presentation at 5:30 p.m. on the Coastal Master Plan, the Flood Risk and Resilience Program, and nonstructural projects being analyzed; and,
