In accordance with the latest guidelines by the CDC related to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, Louisiana Wildlife Federation is postponing the 56th Conservation Achievement Awards banquet previously scheduled for May 1.
This affects the timeline of the 2019 Youth Hunter of the Year Awards and the 2019 Conservation Achievement Awards. Nominators for awards will be contacted soon with updates and follow-up as we make adjustments to meet the temporary challenges related to judging and presentation.
The nomination form is still open until Sunday, March 22 if you got delayed in submitting a nomination for the 2019 Conservation Achievement Awards.
If you have any questions or concerns about either program, please contact Rebecca Triche at rebecca@lawildlifefed.org.
We look forward to rescheduling the banquet when it is prudent to do so. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
